NIHR Be Part of Research
The UK Clinical Trials Gateway has now been replaced with Be Part of Research.
Be Part of Research is a National Institute for Health (NHIR) website to help you find out about health and social care research that is taking place across the UK.
The website allows anyone to search for studies that are open to recruitment by keyword and location, as well as filtering by condition, for example 'anxiety'.
Genetic Links to Anxiety and Depression (GLAD)
The Genetic Links to Anxiety and Depression (GLAD) study is project set up to support studies exploring risk factors for depression and/or anxiety. It is led by the NIHR Mental Health BioResource and researchers at King's College London, in collaboration with researchers at Ulster University, University of Edinburgh, and Cardiff University.
Support dementia research
The NIHR in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland, Alzheimer's Research UK and Alzheimer's Society, have developed Join Dementia Research. This is a service which allows people to register their interest in participating in dementia research and be matched to suitable studies.
Advance Statements for Black African and Caribbean people (AdStAC)
Advance Statements for Black African and Caribbean people (AdStAC) is a research project working with Black (and mixed with Black heritage) service users who have been previously detained under the Mental Health Act, their carers/supporters & mental health staff to co-produce resources for advance choice documents.
CogStack
CogStack is an information retrieval and extraction platform that can search the electronic patient record and extract data. The CogStack platform retrieves health records from a copy of the original electronic patient record at the Trust.
The CogStack platform is ideal for:
- Timely alerts for clinicians about specific clinical concerns on a patient
- Identification and recruitment of potential participants for essential clinical trials
- Clinical interventions based on quality improvement statistics
