Open Studies Testimonial

“We are committed to working with our participants to better our knowledge of the complex causes of depression, anxiety and eating disorders and strive to achieve a better future for everyone affected by them"

Saakshi Kakar, Research Assistant on GLAD Study and EDGI

Open Studies Testimonial

“I am grateful for the care and support that I have received from South London and Maudsley. I felt that by participating in research it would be a way to give something back and help other people with my condition. This was particularly important to me as I am unable to work and it is one way that I feel that I can make a positive contribution and do something of value."

Francis

Open study quote Charlie

“Research is close to home, it’s really important to me. It can be so many different things. Doing research is one of the ways I want to give back to others, and make sure that we get more knowledge and more people talking about mental health.”
