Tier 2: Facilitating Trainer and/or Co-Trainer Training

Each part of the Oliver's Training needs to be delivered in partnership with co-trainers with lived experience.  To deliver the one-day Tier 2 training, organisations will need a training team of Facilitating Trainers with specialist learning disability and autism experience, and teams of Co-Trainers with a learning disability and Co-Trainers who are autistic.

The Facilitator Training is 2 days duration, while each of the Co-Trainer Training is 3 days duration.

If you would like us to deliver these three training options for you, please click the booking request button below

Tier 2: Lead Trainer Training

Only Lead Trainers can train Facilitating Trainers and Co-Trainers with lived experience to deliver the Tier Two one-day training. As highly specialists in the field of learning disability and autism and through their experience in delivering Tier Two Lead Trainer training for NHS England, the Estia Centre in partnership with the National Autistic Society are best placed to deliver Lead Trainer training for you and your organisation.  If you would like to explore this option with us, please click the booking request button below.

Please note that attending the Lead Trainer training course does not guarantee certification at the end of it. As during the course participants will need to demonstrate their knowledge and confidence in learning disability and autism and actively participate in discussions and activities. Participants will also need to complete quality assessments to demonstrate competence at the end of the learning disability and autism sessions and on completing the training.
