Winner: Caroline Norton, Team Leader, Eating Disorders Outpatient Service

Caroline was nominated because of her inspirational attitude to all patients and carers she comes into contact with and she has been instrumental in leading her department. She is fair, empathic and highly dedicated.

Caroline looks after the wellbeing of a large team, and helps get the best from each staff member which in turn means patients get the best care.

Judges said: "Caroline was nominated by different people who'd worked with her for many years and were keen to see her recognised for 'the amazing job she does'."

Caroline said: "My team inspires me - they are so dedicated and they really push themselves for the patients. My team is hardworking, caring and they just don't give up. I was chuffed to be nominated!"

Glenda is committed to excellent patient care and brings a spirit of togetherness to her team. The judges mentioned her professionalism and compassion, which helped her to lead the team through some tough times.

Juney Muhammad, Community Development Service Manager, Mental Health Promotion Team
Juney has worked tirelessly over many years to immerse herself in local communities to reduce the stigma around mental health. The panel heard how she goes about her work with professionalism and humour.
