Pneumonia Risk and Immunity Study in Mental Illness (PRISM)

Volunteers Sought for Project on the Effects of COVID-19 Vaccines (PRISM Study) IRAS ID: 282869
Are you potentially interested in helping us understand if some people show different responses to COVID-19 vaccines?
We are looking for volunteers who have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine but who plan to have the vaccine when they are offered it. The study will look at your response to the vaccine when you receive it. 
Volunteers will be reimbursed for their time and inconvenience up to £140 (£20 for each of up to 7 study visits). Reasonable travel expenses will also be paid.

Conditions

COVID-19,Severe Mental Illness

Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients taking clozapine
2. A diagnosis of a severe mental illness (ICD-10 codes F20 to F39)

Exclusion Criteria

1. Lack of capacity to consent to participation in the study as judged by the Principal Investigator or his delegates.
2. Aged under 18
