Our proposals, which are now with Lambeth Council, include over 500 much needed new homes 50 per cent of which will be affordable, and a new community space. These new homes will help those on Lambeth Council’s waiting lists while providing investment in improved mental health services. Find out more
The redeveloped Douglas Bennett House will house most of the Lambeth Hospital wards and services. There will be 8 wards moving which include; The Actue Ward, PICU Ward, Eating Disorders Ward and Neuropsychiatry Ward. Find out more De Crespigny Park
There is an urgent need to redevelop our hospital facilities, as many of our buildings are old, in poor condition and not fit for purpose. The aim of this redevelopment is to reinvest back into our current and future hospital and community facilities while creating much needed new homes, for local people in Southwark. Find out more

Construction on exterior frame of Douglas Bennett House complete - roof works complete, windows and brick cladding underway and internal fit-out in progress
Pears Maudsley Centre crane installed – construction has reached fourth floor
Gantry in place on Windsor Walk - pavement closure and pedestrian diverted to the opposite pavement, second entrance at Denmark Hill Station open
Memory Lane remains closed
Car park rear of IoPPN student’s union remains closed
Pedestrians diverted between IoPPN and Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry Centre (SGDP)
Front entrance of SGDP stairs removed (ramp access retained)
West emergency escape route to SGDP re-routed
Part of IoPPN car park, north of Lyndhurst School repurposed
Deliveries are made through the Ortus Centre gate.
