Coronavirus: Find our Covid-19 information and updates
Our Council of Governors acts as a link between service users, carers, staff, the general public and the Trust's Board of Directors.
They support the Board of Directors in setting the long-term vision for our organisation, and hold the non-executive directors to account for the actions of the Board. Our Board of Directors has a duty to consult, and listen to the views of, the Council of Governors.
Marcia was appointed Joint Cabinet Lead for Healthier Communities in May 2022 and has been a councillor in Lambeth since 2006. As Deputy Cabinet Member for Customer Services, Marcia helped to set-up the Customer Service Task Force to improve Council service delivery. Marcia has experiences of chairing and sitting on several boards within the council and has been chair of Housing and Adult Services Scrutiny.
For the Council year 2017 to 2018 Marcia was Mayor of Lambeth and nominated Carers 4 Carers (a support group for Carers) and Oasis Youth Hub (who support young victims) as her Mayoral charities. Outside of Lambeth Council, Marcia managed a family centre that catered for children in need and with challenging behaviour. She also worked as a Business Development Co-ordinator for a community organisation.
