Biography
Dr Mima Simic, has been joint Head of MCCAED and Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at MCCAED for the last two decades.
In 2010 Mima led the development of the innovative Intensive Treatment Program (ITP). A key focus of her research interest has been in the development of short psychological interventions for eating disorders and self-harm.
Mima is a national and international trainer on treatment interventions and acts as a consultant on service development. Mima has been an active member of the Executive Board, Faculty for Eating Disorders, Royal College of Psychiatrists.
