Biography

Dr Guglani is Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with the DBT Service.  In addition to her clinical role, she has always been involved in teaching and training. She has been a longstanding clinical and educational supervisor and has been the Training Programme Director for Speciality CAMHS trainees in the Trust. She is currently involved in developing programmes for overseas doctors and medical students. She has been actively involved in epidemiological research.

Dr Guglani completed her Batchelor of Medicine (BM) and Intercalated Batchelor of Science (BSC- 1st class honours) at the University of Southampton. She worked in Paediatrics, where she was awarded the Diploma of Child Health, and in Emergency Medicine before specialising in Psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital. She completed her training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2008. She has worked as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in a busy community service with high risk adolescents and with Looked After Children for 9 years before starting as a Consultant within the DBT service.
