Background

Dr Jennifer Breen is a Clinical Psychologist who has a longstanding and passionate interest in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorders (ADHD), including those with and without intellectual disabilities.

She has worked across a range of services, including residential and community settings in the NHS and the private sector, and currently works in the Service for Complex Autism and Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorders (SCAAND) team at the Michael Rutter Centre in the Maudsley Hospital.  

Jenny completes comprehensive assessments and delivers adapted interventions predominantly utilising CBT, systemic and behavioural approaches.  She particularly enjoys working with young people who are difficult to engage and is committed to co-creating care plans with young person and other key adults in their network to increase future independence and enhance psychological well-being.
