Rachel is a Clinical Psychologist (HCPC registered) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP accredited). 

After completing her training at King’s College London IoPPN, Rachel worked in a local psychological therapy (IAPT) service before moving to the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (CADAT). 

Rachel completed her doctoral thesis on ruminative thinking in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and at CADAT delivers CBT for a range of anxiety and related disorders including OCD, PTSD, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety, BDD, and phobias (including vomiting). She has also completed training in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and co-facilitates MBCT groups for anxiety. 

Rachel’s main clinical and research interest is OCD (particularly ‘pure O’) and she is part of the clinic’s NHS England commissioned Highly Specialised Service for OCD. 

She is currently developing research to identify barriers to effective OCD treatment with the aim of optimising outcomes for patients. 

Rachel is a BABCP accredited supervisor and trainer. She supervises both trainee and qualified therapists and teaches on a range of clinical psychology and CBT courses.
