Background

Tom completed his Counselling Psychology doctorate at Roehampton University and his CBT training at the Institute of Psychiatry Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), Kings College London. He joined the Centre for Anxiety Disorders (CADAT) from Southwark IAPT service in 2018. He offers CBT for all the anxiety disorders treated at CADAT. 

He facilitates CADAT’s hoarding treatment group and is involved in other hoarding-related projects. He is also involved in the treatment and research of misophonia within the clinic. Tom provides teaching for the Mental Health Studies MSc course, seminars for the Clinical Psychology Doctorate course, and clinical supervision for the IAPT HI PgDip in CBT course at the IoPPN. Tom also runs and coordinates workshops on a range of mental health topics in collaboration with the Trust's Recovery College.
