Background

Dr Nicoletta Adamo is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the specialist service for children with autism and complex neurodevelopmental disorders at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

She has an interest in neurodevelopmental conditions and how they interact with each other and with mental health difficulties. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London.

Dr Adamo specialises in cognitive behavioural research in children and young people with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and has researched the effects of pharmacological interventions for ADHD.
