Annabel is an Adult Psychotherapist in both the Self-Harm Outpatient Service (SHOPS) and for Southwark and Central IPTT at the Maudsley Hospital. She has an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling from Birkbeck (University of London) and an MA in English from Oxford University.

Annabel has worked in the Trust since 2005 and has significant experience treating patients with complex difficulties including borderline personality disorder (BPD) and self-harm. She also practices transference focused psychotherapy, an evidence-based treatment for borderline patients. Annabel is committed to improving patient experience in all areas of healthcare and has undertaken three service improvement projects in other NHS Trusts.
