Background

Molly Cooney is the team leader and Clinical Nurse Specialist of the national and specialist Paediatric Liaison service at St Thomas’ Hospital and the Trust. She is also lead nurse for national and specialist outpatients at the Trust.

She holds degrees in psychology and nursing and has completed an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at UCL. Her main clinical interests are child and adolescent psychiatric emergencies and the use of CBT in the treatment of medically unexplained symptoms, functional neurological disorder and comorbid mental and physical health conditions.
