Beware of the new Covid scam
A new Covid vaccination texting scam has been reported. Read on to keep yourself, family and friends safe. where people receive a text message saying they need to book a vaccination appointment. The link will then take recipients to fake NHS form which asks for bank details to prove their identity. Please be aware that this is a scam and the NHS will never ask for banking information.

Year of the Nurse and Midwife artwork unveiled at Maudsley Hospital
An artwork to celebrate the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife was unveiled at Maudsley Hospital on Thursday 17 December. Co-designed with nurses from the Trust and created by Bethlem Gallery artist Sarah Carpenter, the artwork titled "HOLD" has been installed at Maudsley Hospital’s main reception. The project was made possible by a grant from Maudsley Charity.

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust’s Eileen Skellern 1 Psychiatric intensive care unit (ES1 PICU) and Oxehealth are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for “Improving safety in seclusion with non-contact technology”, despite the tough competition from over 1,000 entries, at the 2020 HSJ Awards, recognising their outstanding contribution to healthcare.

NHS England and NHS Improvement, and Public Health England ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign
The campaign seeks to address the barriers that are deterring patients from accessing NHS services. The mental health phase focuses on encouraging people struggling with mental health issues like anxiety and depression to get help through NHS talking therapies, by referral from their GP, or by self referral.
The ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign will help to reassure patients that they can receive care safely.
