Background
Dr Whitwell has been a Consultant Psychiatrist in the specialist adult ADHD and ASD services since 2011 and since 2020. She has been joint clinical director for the Croydon Adult and Behavioural and Developmental Psychiatry Directorate.
Before starting her consultant post at the Trust, she trained in general adult psychiatry at the Maudsley and completed medical training at King’s College London. She has been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2003.
