Maudsley Learning is the education and training arm of the Trust. Our mission is to produce the highest quality mental health and wellbeing education and training products. Their courses are delivered by renowned mental health experts at the Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London.
We design and deliver courses to meet the continuing professional development needs of individual professionals in the healthcare workforce, and also for colleagues in social services, policing, schools and in the private sector.
We also design and deliver programmes for organisations to meet their wider multi-professional needs, focusing on safety and quality. We have an excellent record of success delivering commissioned training nationally and are proud to have achieved Education Team of the Year at the BMJ Awards 2018. We can produce bespoke courses tailored to your needs.

The Maze book provides a practical guide to the Mental Health Act. It aims to help mental health practitioners, mental health act administrators, associate hospital managers, staff working in general acute hospital settings and professional staff at all levels in their understanding of the act.
It is also suitable for anyone who has a general interest, is studying mental health law, or is involved in social care, legal or police work.
