Our research sets the standard for new ideas and innovations in mental healthcare.
Our aim is to put research at the core of everything we do, so we can continually improve our clinical care.
We are doing this by giving our service users the opportunity to take part in research and our staff opportunities to develop and deliever studies. Through research we will create new treatments and improved services.
We work closely with our world leading partners to deliver ground breaking mental health research. Together we work to improve population health and wellbeing on an international scale.
Our research partners set the standard in terms of new ideas and innovations that continue to make significant improvements to both our understanding and treatment of mental health and the quality of life for those impacted.
Browse our list of research studies, find out how you can get involved, and help us better understand mental health.
The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system has been developed for use within our NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre.
The NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is part of the NIHR and hosted by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with King's College London. The BRC brings together scientists, clinicians, allied health professionals, service users and carers to research new tests, treatments and technologies to understand and treat mental health.
