Background

Helen has over 30 years’ experience working within a wide variety of clinical settings. She is a registered mental health nurse (RMN) by background and later trained a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist at Kings College London in 2006.  Helen joined the ADRU team as a senior cognitive behavioural Psychotherapist in 2007 and places an emphasis on working in a very collaborative and client centred way. She ensures therapy is guided by a client’s meaningful goals, with her primary aim is to help clients through their recovery journey. She supports clients to develop confidence and skills in overcoming their anxiety disorder to enable them to build a better quality of life.
