Darren Cutinha is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Lead for the Outpatient service. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer and Course Tutor at University College London (UCL) where he co-leads an MSc in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition.
Darren trained in psychiatry at UCL and The Tavistock Centre where he obtained Master degrees in Psychiatric Research and Family Therapy, respectively, graduating with distinctions in both. He also completed a Darzi Fellowship in Clinical Leadership, working with the Department of Health.
Darren is actively involved in clinical work, teaching, training, research and supervision. Clinically, his main interests are in helping young people with eating disorders and their families who are thought to have complex and/or high-risk presentations and Family Therapy.
