Background

Carmen has worked in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) adult specialist services since 2004. Prior to starting her clinical specialist post in 2018 she worked in forensic services at River House, Bethlem Royal Hospital and as an inpatient specialist on the National Autism Unit.

Carmen completed her Occupational therapy training at the University of Derby in 1999. Before joining the Tr  ust she worked in neurology, elderly care, medicine and surgery, palliative care, burns and plastics, general psychiatry, and learning disabilities. She is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and is registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
