After completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Cardiff University, Sarah worked as an Assistant Psychologist in a Tier 3 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team. She went onto work as an Assistant Psychologist at the National and Specialist OCD, BDD and Related Disorders. Sarah then successfully gained a place on the South Wales Clinical Psychology Doctorate where she completed placements across adult, learning disability and child mental health services. Now as a qualified Clinical Psychologist Sarah has returned to the National and Specialist OCD, BDD and Related Disorders.
Sarah specialises in delivering CBT for young people with OCD, both with and without additional neurodevelopmental conditions. Sarah also has a keen interest in parenting and her doctoral thesis involved developing a short-term parenting intervention about understanding emotions.
