Summary:
Early Intervention Service - Schools Service (Croydon)

We provide a Tier 2 service based within secondary schools, colleges and specialist schools. This service also roles out training for other professionals e.g. teachers, support workers. We offer assessment, advice and treatment for children and young people, who live in London Borough of Croydon, aged 11-18 and who have mental health problems and learning disabilities.

Child Early Intervention Service - Incredible Years (Croydon).

Incredible Years is a Tier 2 Service offering parent group training and support to families with children under the age of 12 who live in the London Borough of Croydon. The service is provided by a team of health and social care professionals delivering the service at Children’’s Centres. We provide early assessment within our clinic setting prior to referring the families into the most suitable programme. The groups can be intensive and dependent on condition last between 8 and 12 weeks.

Young Offenders Service (Croydon)

The Young Offenders Service is a Tier 3 Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). We provide inpatient assessment, treatment and care for young people, aged 14-18, who have moderate to severe, acute or ongoing mental health problems and/or behavioural problems. We also provide specialist assessments and treatment for young people who display sexually harmful behaviour. We provide care for young people who live in the London Borough of Croydon.
Tier 3 CAMHS are provided by a team of specialists in a community mental health clinic, home visits or the Turnaround Centre. This level of service is for children and young people with severe and complex problems, which they have had for some time.

Team members are likely to include child and adolescent psychiatrists, social workers, clinical psychologists, community psychiatric nurses, and clinical therapists.

Many of the young people we help have experienced trauma including domestic violence, war, and also trauma associated with parental mental illness and/or substance misuse.

Looked after Children’’s Service (Croydon)
This service is a Tier 2/3 child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) providing outpatient assessment, treatment and care for children and young people, up to the age of 17, with severe emotional, behavioural and mental health problems. We care for children and young people who are looked after and live in the London Borough of Croydon.

The CAMHS service is provided by a team of specialists in a community mental health clinic or hospital. This service is for children and young people who have had severe and complex problems for some time.

Team members in this service are likely to include child and adolescent psychiatrists, social workers, clinical psychologists, community psychiatric nurses, clinical therapists.

We provide our service at Christopher Wren House, and if necessary we provide home visits
