A fond farewell to Gabrielle Richards, MBE: Our Chief of Allied Health Professions and Inclusion

Our Head of Allied Health Professions and Inclusion, Gabrielle Richards, will be leaving the Trust at the end of June to take a well-earned rest, after dedicating over 30 years of her career to the organisation.

Gabrielle has worked tirelessly as an occupational therapist and Allied Health Professional lead. She played a pivotal role in establishing the Recovery College and Volunteering services, and led the development of service user and carer involvement across the Trust, helping to embed their voices at every level.

Gabrielle is a passionate and creative leader. Her unwavering support for OTs, AHPs, and the involvement of service users and carers has had a lasting, positive impact on the Trust and the people it serves.

Reflecting on her time with us, Gabrielle said: “It has been a privilege to work at the Trust all these years. I have absolutely loved being an occupational therapist and working with all my amazing MDT colleagues. I’ve had the opportunity to develop so many wonderful initiatives and one of the most pleasurable parts of my job has been working with incredible service users and carers. I will miss it all!”

We thank Gabrielle for her outstanding service and wish her all the very best for the future.
