Engaging the community in our Strategy Refresh
We’re hitting the streets! As part of our Strategy Refresh, we’re bringing the conversation directly to our communities to ensure their voices shape our priorities for the next five years.
Last month, our Strategy Team visited the Southwark Carers’ Café, bringing the Strategy conversations to carers in a familiar and supportive setting. The team listened to carers’ experiences of South London and Maudsley services and gathered feedback on what matters most to them. All feedback was gathered and will go towards shaping our priorities, vision, and mission in the next Strategy.
Nicole Thom, Engagement Support Officer with South London and Maudsley said :
“We are grateful to Southwark Carers for welcoming us to their weekly carer’s café to listen to carers views and experiences of S outh London and Maudsley services and what is important for them to be part of our Strategy for the next five years. It goes without saying that carers, friends and families are the heart of support and we must do more to engage meaningfully and respectfully in ways that truly reflect their important role .”
