In this week’s Staff Spotlight Series, we spoke to Annie Fellows, an Assistant Psychologist in the South London and Maudsley Staff Support Team. Annie is leading a two-year staff wellbeing project, Wellbeing Matters – Finding wellness in your every day, funded by Maudsley Charity and NHS Charities Together. 

Today, we shine a light on Anisa, an Engagement Support Officer, whose driving force is to ensure every individual receives the care and support they deserve, irrespective of background or circumstance.

For our final Women’s History Month blog, we interviewed Simone Myers, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead for our services in Lewisham, on proudly representing the service at the staff awards and the positive action we need to take to mobilise women to effect change. 

During Women’s History Month it is easy to focus on the stories of high profile, successful women. But it is equally important to mark the success of unsung heroes whose enormous contributions to society, through raising children, caring, pursuing education and working with the most vulnerable, go virtually unseen.
