Today is World No Tobacco Day, with this year’s theme - “Unmasking the Appeal” - focused on exposing the calculated tactics used by the tobacco industry to make their products attractive and to encourage early uptake of smoking. 

At South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, our commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism was powerfully reflected at our recent event, where staff gathered to commemorate George Floyd Day and Africa Day.

The Triangle of Care is a therapeutic alliance between carers, service users and health professionals. It aims to promote safety and recovery and to sustain mental wellbeing by including and supporting carers. It is based on six principles which health and care providers can use to include and support unpaid carers, staff and those receiving care.

Our Head of Allied Health Professions and Inclusion, Gabrielle Richards, will be leaving the Trust at the end of June to take a well-earned rest, after dedicating over 30 years of her career to the organisation.
