For International Nurses Day 2024 we wanted to shine a light on our internationally educated nurses who are been an important part of the care we deliver.

This week is Black Baby Loss Awareness Week (BBLAW). Recent statistics show that Black and Black Mixed-Heritage women and birthing people are 43% more likely to experience miscarriage. They're also almost 50% more likely to experience stillbirth, and Black babies have the highest infant mortality rates in the country.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week from 13th to 19th May 2024, the theme "Movement: Moving More for Our Mental Health" takes centre stage. This week highlights the crucial role movement plays in nurturing our mental well-being and provides an opportunity to integrate more physical activity into our daily lives. 

Jo Taylor's journey with Lewisham SUN is a story of personal growth and community support. Her experience with the group and its impact on her life is a testament to the positive role SUN can play in people's lives.
