Welcome to our Monthly Stakeholder Recap for May 2024. We highlighted our Strategy in Action event, celebrated international nurses, and launched new initiatives like the Brain Health Research Centre, alongside our ongoing commitment to mental health awareness and anti-racism. 

For International Nurses Day 2024 we wanted to shine a light on our internationally educated nurses who are been an important part of the care we deliver.

This week is Black Baby Loss Awareness Week (BBLAW). Recent statistics show that Black and Black Mixed-Heritage women and birthing people are 43% more likely to experience miscarriage. They're also almost 50% more likely to experience stillbirth, and Black babies have the highest infant mortality rates in the country.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week from 13th to 19th May 2024, the theme "Movement: Moving More for Our Mental Health" takes centre stage. This week highlights the crucial role movement plays in nurturing our mental well-being and provides an opportunity to integrate more physical activity into our daily lives.
