Partnership in Action: Chairs Explore Innovations at Greenwich Mental Health Hub
In the spirit of partnership, the Chairs of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) recently visited the Greenwich Mental Health Hub, a key community Mental Health Service operated in collaboration with Oxleas NHS, South East London Mind, and Bridge Support.
The visit offered an opportunity to observe and exchange insights, showcasing how the Hub delivers effective community mental health care and highlighting best practices that improve outcomes for local service users.
Prof. Andrew George, Chair, Oxleas NHS, said:
"Visiting the Hub with Jane has been an excellent opportunity to exchange insights and learn more about how our two trusts collaborate to make a tangible difference for the people we support. It’s inspiring to see how partnership working can enhance patient care and strengthen services across the local area."
Jane Bailey, Chair, SLaM, said:
"It has been a real pleasure visiting the Hub with Andrew today. We share a vision of working in partnership to achieve outstanding outcomes for local communities. Seeing the dedication and innovation of the teams here has been inspiring, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from Oxleas’ approach."
