Lambeth VCSE Partnership Awards – Funding for Grassroots Community Organisations 

Introduction

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), together with partners across Lambeth, invites grassroots and community-led VCSE organisations to apply for the Lambeth Partnership Awards Funding.

This programme supports local organisations to deliver inclusive, culturally relevant activities that promote mental health, wellbeing, and social connection across Lambeth communities. 

About the award

We are funding VCSE organisations to deliver activities that:

  • Promote mental health and wellbeing
  • Reduce isolation and build connection
  • Support culturally diverse, racialised, and faith-based communities
  • Offer inclusive, accessible, low-risk activities for residents
  • Strengthen relationships between VCSE groups and Lambeth Community Mental Health services 

Funding available

Organisations can apply for one fixed grant from the following bands: 

£5,000 · £10,000 · £15,000 · £20,000 · £24,999 

Funding is awarded for a 24-month delivery period, with a 12-month review. 

Who can apply

Eligible applicants include: 

  • Grassroots community groups
  • Registered charities
  • CICs  
  • Community Benefit Societies
  • CIOs
  • Not-for-profit companies 

We particularly welcome applications from: 

  • Black-led organisations
  • Global Majority-led groups
  • Organisations offering culturally specific or faith-informed wellbeing support
  • Small groups with annual income under £100,000 

What we are looking for

Examples of eligible activities include:  

  • Creative arts,  crafts and music
  • Peer support groups and conversation circles
  • Faith- or spiritually-informed wellbeing sessions
  • Movement, dance, exercise, or leisure activities
  • Gardening and nature-based sessions
  • Cooking, community meals, and social gatherings
  • Skills-based learning or wellbeing workshops
