Landing page design proposal

What design choices have we made?

Firstly, VerseOne would like to thank you for viewing the new South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust website design proposals. A few things worth noting; the realisation of these designs into the VerseOne CMS will allow for flexible re-positioning and re-ordering of the page elements. VerseOne work with re-usable components to allow their customers to create varied and engaging page layouts and content. The designs presented use a mixture of re-purposed images, placeholder text and wording yet to be fully approved. The focus therefore is on how the Trust is conveyed, and the page look and feel.

A landing page serves to further split traffic depending on what the user is trying to access or achieve. Using a clear tile-like menu placement at the top of the page helps facilitate this. A bold 50/50 column split allows us to display a large quote calling out the great work of the Trust staff, with extra variable components in the full with band and 'card' content with call to action buttons at the bottom to lead the user to other related pages as well.

With no standard side navigation, this page feels different to a standard internal content page and would be well suited to a departmental title page or a more outward-looking ‘marketing’ page.
