How our service can help you
How our service can help you
The Enhanced Treatment Service (ETS) supports young people aged 12-18 who live in Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham or Southwark, and is part of the National and Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health services. We help when someone needs more support than their local CAMHS team can offer, or when they are moving back home after spending time in hospital.
We were set up to:
- Give young people another option instead of going into hospital
- Help young people settle back into the community after being in hospital
- Support young people who need more intensive help than what Tier 3 CAMHS can provide
- Reduce self-harm and suicidal thoughts Improve how young people and families feel about their care
- Offer short-term, focused therapy and support
- Provide day treatment and outreach support at home or in the community
Our team includes many different professionals, and we work with schools, social services and other community teams to help each young person recover.
