Croydon Mental Health in Learning Disabilities Service

How our service can help you

Our Mental Health in Learning Disabilities (Croydon) is a specialist, community-based service based at Bethlem Royal Hospital. We provide outpatient and community assessment, inpatient liaison, advice and treatment for people, aged over 18, who have learning disabilities together with mental health problems. We provide care for people who live in the London Borough of Croydon.

We are psychiatrists employed by SLaM. We are part of the Behavioural and Developmental clinical academic group. We work locally as part of the Croydon Joint Community Learning Disabilities Team (JCDLT) which includes multidisciplinary health and social care professionals not employed by SLaM.

We provide mental health assessments and advice on services and treatment options to help people with learning disabilities and mental health problems maintain their health and independence.
