Lambeth Secondary Care Psychological Therapies (SCPT)

How our service can help you

Lambeth Secondary Care Psychological Therapies (SCPT) provides stepped care psychological interventions in secondary care for people aged 18-65 who live in the borough of Lambeth and who have complex needs, including emotional regulation difficulties, complex PTSD, interpersonal difficulties and high levels of need from services.

Our first step options focus on day to day difficulties and how to manage these. Our follow up therapies include Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mentalisation Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytical therapy, group and individual psychodynamic therapy, as well as Family Therapy. Referrals are accepted by mental health professionals from IAPT and CMHTs, as well as GP referrals and self-referrals for people who are not with another mental health service. The latter can access SCPT via Lambeth's Single Point of Access.

Waiting times for the service will vary with access to some higher intensity therapies being 12+months.
