The LGBTQ+ Network proudly represents SLaM at Pride in London 2026
On Saturday 4 July, the LGBTQ+ Staff Network proudly marched in this year's Pride in London Parade. With additional support, the network was able to invest in new T-shirts, accessories and a banner, helping to raise its profile and visibility at this year's Pride.
The LGBTQ+ Network's Executive Sponsor and Chief Strategy Officer, Kate Lillywhite, joined network members and allies from across the Trust for the march. She shared:
Pride is such a celebration of authenticity, inclusion and belonging – which feels more important this year than ever. Marching alongside Network members was a powerful reminder that when we feel safe to be ourselves, we can all thrive. It’s fantastic that our presence at Pride is growing year on year, as a sign of how far we’ve come but also why visibility still matters.
Over 30 people represented SLaM in this year's parade- a huge increase from previous years, as this year spots were also opened to allies from across the Trust.
