South London and Maudsley shortlisted for RCPsych Awards 2024!

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is proud to announce that several of its teams and individuals have been shortlisted for the highly esteemed Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) Awards 2024. The awards, which will take place on 7th November 2024, celebrate excellence and innovation in mental health care and research.  

Among the Trust’s finalists are:  

  • CAMHS Digital Lab – Psychiatric Team of the Year: Digital Mental Health  

  • ADRU ( Anxiety Disorders Residential Unit ) – Psychiatric Team of the Year: Working-age Adult  

  • Dr Toby Pillinger – Academic Researcher of the Year  

  • Dr Laith Alexander RCPsych Core Psychiatric Trainee of the Year   

  • Dr Rajesh Mohan – Psychiatrist of the Year  

These nominations highlight the groundbreaking work conducted by the Trust’s staff to improve mental health outcomes and provide compassionate, high-quality care. Each of the shortlisted nominees has made significant contributions to the field of psychiatry, from pioneering digital mental health innovations to advancing research and promoting excellence in clinical practice.

The RCPsych Awards, considered one of the most prestigious awards in the field of psychiatry, aim to recognise individuals and teams who have made exceptional contributions to mental health services, research, and education. The winners will be announced during the ceremony on 7th November 2024.
