Workforce
Through our Anti-Racism Plan, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, particularly for our Black colleagues. Our goal is to ensure that our Trust is an equitable and supportive environment where all staff, especially those from Ethnically and Culturally Diverse (ECD) backgrounds, feel empowered, respected, and valued.
Key Actions
Inclusive Recruitment: We are enhancing our recruitment processes to ensure they are fair and attract diverse talent, with a particular emphasis on increasing representation of Black staff across all levels.
Career Development: We will implement tailored career development and leadership programmes to support the growth of Black colleagues, ensuring they have the opportunities to progress within the Trust.
Anti-Racism Training: All staff will be required to participate in ongoing anti-racism and cultural competency training to promote an inclusive workplace environment.
Staff Networks: We will strengthen existing networks and create new forums to ensure that Black staff and ECD employees have a dedicated space to share their experiences and receive support.
