Aurora Todisco

Aurora Todisco is the winner of the Advocacy and Patient Experience Champion Award at the National B.A.M.E. Health & Care Awards 2025. She is a Finance, HR and Governance Development Lead with over 22 years of professional experience, including the past 9 years dedicated to the health and social care sector.

Aurora brings a unique combination of professional expertise and lived experience to her work as a carer and advocate, with a strong focus on improving patient safety, health equity, accessibility and quality of care.

Holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Primary Care Management, she combines systems leadership with co-production approaches to drive meaningful change. Since 2021, Aurora has worked alongside nearly 90 national stakeholders to improve inclusion and trauma-informed practice across health, research and academic settings.

She is passionate about ensuring that neurodivergent people, people with learning disabilities, carers and communities are heard, valued and involved in shaping safer, more responsive and equitable services.
